The scriptures is replete with examples of men who reproduced themselves in others. Our primary example is our Lord Jesus Christ. When he started his ministry, he called twelve men to follow him.

He discipled them and taught them the ropes. They learnt the ways and principles of God. He taught them how to do ministry and operate in the supernatural. We are not surpised they succeeded after he left. Today, we are products of that lineage of men raised by Christ.

If Christ didn't think posterity, he would have kept all his knowledge, wisdom and power to himself. The resultant effect of that would be disastrous because there will be no one to spread the message of salvation to you and me.

It is not God's will that his investment in your life dies with you. His expectation is that you pass it on to others who in turn will do same.

Paul's admonition to Timothy read thus: You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others (2 Tim 2:2 NLT).

Apostle Paul knew there was a tendency for the message of the gospel to fizzle out If not taught to others who will do same. That's why he commanded Timothy to do same.

In life, If you are doing something worthwhile that is impacting lives and transforming souls, start thinking of reproducing yourself in others who will carry on after you are gone. They may not necessarily continue with your brand but your ideology must outlive you.

So many have taken good ideas, knowledge, wisdom to the grave where it is not needed. The cemetry is the most endowed place on earth yet there is no technology to extract those treasures from the dead for the living to use.  

Apostle Arome once said that anything you have done consistently for ten years, you are qualified to start teaching it to others. I agree with him on this. There are young entrepreneurs failing in business because the oldies are not accessible for mentoring. Some are afraid to share "secrets" because they don't want competitors. That's how insecure people think.

It is on record that most successful billionaires in the world today were trained and mentored by others before them and they are also investing their time, energy, knowledge into others. That's why they organize conferences in their field of endeavours.

Older men in ministry with consistent track record of integrity with the word and with God's people should reproduce themselves in those that are willing to learn. I know there is a problem of unwillingess to learn by the younger generation but it is not a general problem. If only we know the power a few willing minds can wield when properly taught and trained, we won't mind investing in one person.

Even in marriage, Paul admonished older women to teach younger women: "These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children" (Titus 2:4). The underlining principle here is the principle of reproduction.

One of the ways you'll know you are due for reproducing yourself in others is that God will send your way men and women willing to learn. They will ask you questions and probe deeply into how you got to where you are either in life, business, career or ministry.

Prepare yourself for this task.
