May 08, 2025 · Projectsave International · 36 views

Psalms 92:12-14 *But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon*( NLT).

If given the option of a mango tree or palm tree, those that know the economic value of palm tree will choose it over other trees. Those that have palm plantation have an assurance of yearly income.

There is another characteristics of the palm tree that makes it different from others.

#3. The Palm tree is never barren and it bears fruit till death.

For the believer to bear fruit and flourish like palm tree, he is expected to be connected to the vine which is Jesus Christ (John15:1-5). God want the believer to bear fruit always.

John 15:4-5 says, "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing".

The book of Galatians 5: 22 tells us the kind of fruit a believer must bear: Love, joy, peace patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. These are christian virtues a believer must possess to be like Christ.

A fruitful life is impossible without abiding in Christ. Our efforts cannot produce the fruit expected of us. The answer is to abide in the vine, Christ.

To abide in Christ is to stay in fellowship with him. As we stay with him in the place of prayer&the word, we'll begin to experience pruning in our lives that will lead to our fruitfulness.

Action point
Father, I receive the grace to abide in Christ in Jesus name.
