If I may ask, "what is that thing Christianity offer that makes it unique from other religion"? I am sure some of you will say: miacles, healings, etc.
What If I tell you that miracles, healings, etc happen in some religion? Yes, there are occultic powers used to perform some abracadabra some call miracles in some religion. In fact, it is no news that some pastors use those occultic powers to perform miracles.
Some may say prophecy and visions makes Christianity unique from other religion. Well, another shocker is that there are seers in almost all the world religions. Those things are present with them. Unfortunately, some prophets seek powers to see visions from there.
Satan has always been in the business of counterfeiting the operations of the Spirit simply because he has access to that realm and he knows what to do to put up a show or perform something that will surprise everyone. That is why true ministry should not be built around gifts and spiritual manifestations only.
What is that thing religion does not offer? Religion does not offer eternal life only Christ does. When Christ came, he came to give eternal life which no religious leader can offer or has promised.
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord". Halleluyah. Those who accept Christ have eternal life. No religion in the world can offer this.
1 John 5:13 says, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life". Glory be to God. I have eternal life.
That gift of eternal life is the reason I have an assurance within me that I will reign with Christ. The consummation of that eternal life will become a reality when I translate into glory.
This is what religion does not offer that only Christ can offer to those willing to accept him.
