So many believers have asked God, "Why am I going through all these"? People answer questions like this based on their level of knowledge but we need to look into the word for answer.

It is surprising why a loving God would deliver his people from slavery in Egypt and still allow them pass through the wilderness for so long on their way to the promised land.

The reason God delayed that journey was because he wanted to prove their character. It is all about character test and refinement.

God permitted some delays in our lives not because he intended harm but for our proper repositioning for the promised land which we have so much desired.

God knows that If we enter into His promise with those baggages, we will mess things up. That waiting time in the wilderness of life is what he uses to refine our character.

There are habits&characters that may destroy when you climb the ladder glory. The reason God permitted some delays in your life is because He knows that some character/habits can bring you down from the ladder of glory if not dealt with.

What Samson failed to deal with brought him down and destroyed him.

Some singles  are praying for a life partner but the character that can destroy their marriages is much alive in them, yet they wonder why God is silent on their matter. God is not interested in failed marriages and he will do anything to prevent it.

Let God use this trying times to work on you and refine your character so that we can speak like Jesus who said: "For the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me"( John 14:30).
