CHRIST IS ENOUGH FOR ME

July 22, 2025 · Projectsave International · 31 views

Acts 4:12 *Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved*

Sometime ago, while returning from a trip, we got to an accident scene on the road. Our driver boasted that he cannot have accident because of the charm in his vehicle. He told us his protection charm was somewhere inside his dashboard. Further, he said most drivers have charms in their vehicles to prevent accident.

I listenened to him with rapt attention as he boasted about his charms. I told him the only person I know is Christ. He responded by saying he is also a Christian. He showed me his pictures in suit on a sunday while in church. He said Jesus alone is not enough and that something must be added.

Then I realized some church goers are not far from their idolatrous roots despite going to church in numbers. There are many like him who put on suit on sundays, shout halleluyah and still speak in tongues but still find help to somewhere else apart from Christ. Some still consult witch doctors in the dark.  Does this describe you?

The bible says, "Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods" ( Psalms 16:4 NLT)

The moment you start seeking help and protection from demons, you are setting up yourself for a life filled with trouble. As you solve one you'll enter another. Why can't you rest in the finished work of Christ? If Christ is not enough for you, you'll keep running from pillar to post.

For me, Jesus is enough. The name of Jesus is sufficient. His blood does it for me. His sacrifice on the cross is the solution to all my challenges. Anything aside this won't work for me. Whatever Jesus cannot do in my life should remain undone. I am satisfied in Christ.

Action point
: I receive grace not to look elsewhere for help but to rely in the sufficiency of Christ's finished work on the cross in Jesus name.
