"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."_ — _John 1:17_
*HOW TO WALK IN GRACE-
HOW TO WALK IN GRACE- RECEIVE IT BY FAITH (a)
*Grace is not a reward for trying harder. It is a gift for believing deeper*.
The Law was given. It demanded, "Do this and live." It showed man what is right, but gave him no power to do it. It came with thunder on Sinai, with a veil, with fear. Moses carried tablets of stone.
But Grace came. Grace is not a thing, Grace is a Person. Jesus did not come to give you a better law; He came to give you Himself. Truth is not just correct doctrine, it is the reality of God living in you. Grace is supernatural empowerment that came through Christ's blood.
Stop trying to earn God's love. You cannot pay for what Christ has fully paid for.
> _"Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?"_ — Galatians 3:3
To walk in grace today, believe and receive what Jesus has finished on the cross. His sacrifice brought grace not your works. The power to say "No" to sin will be released upon you as you put your faith in the finished work of Christ.
Titus 2:11 says grace teaches us to say No to ungodliness. It is not just forgiveness, it is ability.
Father, today I stop trying to earn You. I receive by faith the grace that came through Jesus Christ, to be loved, to be empowered, to walk in truth. Amen.
