NEVER WALK ALONE
I love the slogan of Liverpool FC, 'Never Walk Alone'. This slogan underscore the benefit of viable relationship.
During my National Youth Service Corps orientation programme(NYSC), we were made to go on a long walk called 'endurance trekking'.
We trekked on foot from one town to another. It was such a long journey on foot with soldiers and other paramilitary agencies as guides.
Have you gone on endurance walk alone before? If you have, you will notice that walking alone can sap energy quickly and journey seems so long and lonely.
If you walk the same distance with a group of friends going the same direction, by the time you get to your destination, you will not know you've covered a long distance.
Endurance walk is very interesting with a group not when you're alone. That explains the power of relationship.
That time of life when you need to build destiny relationship is now that you are young. You have to be intentional about it.
If you look at men that climbed the ladder of greatness, they climbed with men and women of like minds.
After discovering your purpose, you must consciously build relationship with men and women of like passion. It is a fuel that keeps you alive on the journey.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, "Two are better than one,because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,one can help the other up.But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up".
In life, you cannot journey alone. You need those that will motivate, edify and revive your vision.
In your youthful days, walk with the right people and nurture that relationship.
