Ex.8:23 I will make a clear distinction between my people and your people. This miraculous sign will happen tomorrow’”( NLT).
When my wife wanted to deliver of our first child, she was placed on compulsory bed rest prior to the day of delivery. It was not a funny experience for first timers like us especially her health challenge during that particular pregnancy.
While in the hospital, she was in a ward where all the women had one or two issues. Some lost their babies, some were detained because they couldn't pay hospital bills despite losing their babies. I remember the case of a woman who had contraction at 5-6 months of pregnancy. That ward was a "dark room" in that hospital. I pitied those who couldn't pay their bills. They were treated harshly.
At a time, I blamed the doctors for putting her in such a ward because she was the only pregnant woman there. Others already lost their babies. Staying there could affect her mind before delivery. It was as though everyone was waiting to hear a bad news from her. Halleluyah! God exempted us.
After my wife put to bed without ceasarean section( doctors were contemplating a CS), she looked different and unique in the eyes of other women in her ward. A muslim woman became close to us after delivery because everything about our case was a miracle.
That season, we placed a demand on God's word and we got our desired result despite the prevailing circumstance in that ward. We left there alive, mother and child.
Dearest, God has promised to put a mark of distinction on his children. Something must show you are different from others. Don't use faithlessness to stop the fulfilment of God's promise to you. It is not God's desire that you partake in the evil in town.
It doesn't glorify God that you experience what everyone is experiencing. That is why your confession must be different. What disturbs everyone and kills many shouldn't kill you. You're God's ambassador here on earth with heavenly protection. Your life is hidden with Christ in God( Col 3:3). This is the biblical basis for exemption.
From today, whenever people talk about the common woes of sickness, failure, depression, suffering, poverty, etc, tell Satan: "My case is different. I have a divine exemption". The word of God is the basis for your exemption.
Learn to talk your way out of unfavourable circumstances by showing the enemy your exemption letter-the word of God. Our victory is tied to believing and confessing God's word.
CONFESSION: I am exempted from sickness, untimely death, poverty, depression, satanic oppression and other demonic gifts of hell. My case is different because Christ paid the price for my exemption. I walk in total victory in the name of Jesus Christ.
