JUSTIFIED TO BE GLORIFIED. Pt.5

Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. NKJV

WE SHALL REIGN AND RULE

After the rapture of the saints, we shall spend a period of seven years in heaven where we shall stand before the "Bema" judgement and partake in the marriage supper of the lamb. In "Bema" judgement, that's where we shall receive the reward for our service here on earth( 2Cor5:10). After which we shall partake in the marriage supper of the lamb with our groom- Christ( Rev19:7-10) This will last for seven years while the earth will experience seven years of great tribulation and the reign of the anti Christ(Mt24:21). When seven years is over, Christ shall fight the anti Christ in a war known as Armageddon. He shall conquer him and then set up His millennial kingdom. Though this order of event is hotly debated but I believe in pre-tribulation rapture. That's where I stand.

All believers who will rapture with Christ shall return to reign and rule with Him in the millennia kingdom. They shall sit over cities as rulers and judges: “‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward".(Luke 19:17 NLT). In fact, apostle Paul made it clear that we shall judge the world and angels: "Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves? Don’t you realize that we will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disputes in this life"( 1 Corinthians 6:2‭-‬3 NLT)

In glory, we shall serve Christ and be actively involved in leadership. While we know that the atmosphere shall be filled with worship, we won't be excluded from governance as well. Luke 22:29-30 says, "and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel". Nothing compares with the glory ahead. There's so much about our glorification that our minds can't capture but we shall understand it better bye and bye. This hope should stir us to live a purified life: "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure"(1 John 3:2-3 NIV).
